Bad Publishing Choice
Everything's wonderful - but why publish in two volumes? This is etudes 1 through 20. Check out "32 Etudes and 40 Studies for Clarinet." It has all 72 works for about 13$ (on this website)

Major help in honing (almost) all skills
Challenging set of 20 studies (in Book 1) cover a spectrum of skills & techniques. Studies force you to develop your musicianship through the constant mix of staccato & legato passages. Working through this material improves my performance on all the other pieces I play. Full of gems, #17 is my favorite for now. Would have given book a five-star rating if it included accompanyment or was scored for duets, a major part of playing that isn't covered by these studies. Nonetheless, this is a *must have* book in the advancing clarinetist's library
