4 Canzoni - Score and parts
Composed by Troilo. Recorder Quintets. Italian Instrumental Music of the Renaissance. Score and Parts. Published by London Pro Musica (MM.LPMIM20).
Item Number: MM.LPMIM20
Little is known about Antonio Troilo beyond the fact that he came from Verona, and worked at nearby Vicenza. Troilo's Il Primo Libro delle Canzoni is unusual in including five-part pieces which are rare in the canzon da sonar repertoire. Includes separate parts for wind and string instruments.
