      Vier Letzte Lieder

      This is for the advanced singer. It is a wonderful set, and this is a good arrangement if it is going to be performed with piano, rather than orchestra.

      classic

      My favorite performance of all, even though there are several very fine ones, is by Elizabeth Schwartzkopf, George Szell conducting. What exquisite music, and an unparalleled interpretation.

      Four musical gemstones

      This Strauss 4 last songs are very beautiful, I sugest you to listen to them in the orchestrated version sang by Jessye Norman, the sound its very diferent from all the typical music from Strauss, and my favorite piece its the last one, "Im abendrot".
