"Any serious piano student needs the edition the composer intended (i.e. Urtext). The edition edited by Carl Czerny is ridiculously inaccurate and subjective. Czerny implants his own articulations, dynamics, and tempo markings, and sometimes even his own notes and rhythms into the score as if Bach had written them! Be very careful if you purchase this edition to check it against an urtext edition."

"What makes this book difficult is that it takes so much coordination! Many of the songs are polyphonic and involve both hands each going off and simultaneously playing their own melodies. I personally like Prelude VI, even though (I think) it's one of the more difficult pieces in the book."
