Willem de Fesch was born in 1687 in Alkmar and died in 1761 in London. He was a Dutch composer and violin virtuoso. From 1710, de Fesch was a much sought after violin teacher in Amsterdam. From 1725 to 1731 he was Director of Music at Antwerp Cathedral. He went to London in 1732, where he stayed for the rest of his life. He composed several oratories, a mass, songs in English, concertos and a lot of chamber music. This arrangement is based on a edition published in 1736 and kept in the Royal Music Library, Brussels. 28 page score with parts.
