I chose this music because I like it so much. However, I hadn't played the piano for many many years. The music is what has brought me back to playing. Therefore, I am thrilled with having this music and want to master the third Gnossienne - even though it will...

    take me time.

A great collection of approachable pieces and the fact that a lot of the left hand is in the treble clef is a good exercise for students. Dynamic markings are somewhat exaggerated, but overall a very worthwhile purchase

I did not like the left hand transposed in the right hand as it was difficult to read. The yellow Schirmer's Gnossiennes and Gymnopedies are easier to read.

This publication is difficult to read because the left hand is written in the treble cleft (as if for the right hand) verses being written in the bass cleft. I recommend purchasing the yellow-covered Schirmer's "Library of Musical Classics" for Satie Thjree Gymnopedies and also Three Gnossienes (also...

sold on this website) as it is much easier to read and play.
