Three Transcriptions - Nathan Milstein
As a violin’s student, I appreciate the sheet music or score that provide me with enough room to enter my personal notations between the lines. Each piece of music are printed twice, one for the pianist including the violin part for easy guidance to accompany the violin and a separate booklet for the violinist. I only wish for a CD with tracks of full demo and accompaniment only, which is not included. In reference to the music and “Nocturne” in particular, I’m sure Frederic Chopin (RIP) is very happy with the work done by Nathan Milstein (RIP) to one of his Nocturnes. With all my respect, I thank both of them for their work and probably you will agree with me if you have the opportunity to listen to Perlman or Milstein himself playing the above mentioned music.

wonderful and lovely pieces
Wonderful, not to difficult to play, but difficult to make it perfect. THere is a little error in line two of the Nocturne violin part.

Great music, but poor publishing
I purchased this product solely for the sheet music to Milstein's transcription of Chopin's Nocturne in C# minor. While the transcription was great, I found it to be stained with a minor editing error (page 3 of the violin part, the high E). I found this to be rather disappointing considering the obviousness of this mistake. I also found the fingerings and bowing marks to be non-existent. However, as this was the only edition I knew that had this transcription, it was the only edition I could buy.
