3 Gymnopedies
Gymnopidies, means "Pieces in the shape of a pear" Strange, don't you think? Number one is very good, but the others are a bit dreary. I consider that Number one is worh learning.

Great collection
How wonderful to have all three Gymnopedies in the same book. The size and spacing of the notes are far enough apart for ease in reading.

Simple, haunting, gorgeous
This is one of the pieces we all hear but not everyone knows its title. Organists: do yourself a favor and see how easily this adapts to the organ. Pianists: it's not quite as easy as it looks, but very satisfying to learn.

Soothing and easy to Play
I was very impressed with these pieces. The pieces are not difficult to play. The pieces give the illusion of complexity and depth. This is a great buy and your audience will enjoy these works.

Satie
This is really some of Satie's best music. The Blood Sweat 'n' Tears' version was okay, but until you've played this, you really don't know what you're missing. The first one is slightly harder than the following two. The third is the shortest and easiest.

Satie: Three Gymnopedies For the Piano
These Gymnopedies composed by Satie, are among his best works. The Gymnopedies are laid out perfectly, the note heads are clear and the performance directions are concise. The first Gymnopedie sets the standard, and is slightly harder than the second and third. Once you have mastered the first, the second and third flow like water from your fingertips.
