  • June 03, 2014 Great Book!

Amazing book(s)! Granted, the main book containing both parts has some formatting errors. The sheet music for one song spans about 8 pages, front and back. However, with the inserts containing the individual parts, I did not find this to be a problem. My friend and I performed a...

piece from the book for a school concert and it was great. I will say, however, that these songs are very difficult for a beginning cellist. Cello 2 tends to be a bit similar, but they are both advanced works and VERY fun to play. Highly recommended for any cellist looking to play something new and unique. Cello rockers like myself will love it even more. ;)

  • January 27, 2014 Advanced, but good transcription

This is quality sheet music with separate parts for cello 1 & 2 in addition to the main book. Not for the beginner.

  • December 21, 2013 Awesome!Z

This is the best song book I have ever bought! It has all the songs from 2Cellos' first album and it's awesome! Even though the score pages aren't spaced right, it comes with separate parts and it is perfect! It is the best song book you will ever...

buy and it is well worth the money! It is written in 2 clefs (Bass and treble; mostly in treble because it goes high) but it is not so hard to learn a clef! This book is the best book ever!

  • October 25, 2013 Not user friendly for its target market

I've been a symphony cellist & private teacher for over 20 years. One of my students (9th grader) recently purchased this. As cellists we read in 3 clefs, but the way this is transcribed is mostly in treble clef with ledger lines under the staff, (rather than reserving treble clef...

for the upper register). I'm all for these guys inspiring people on You-Tube, but as far as sheet music goes, I don't believe this is well-written at all.

  • April 20, 2013 bad layout

The arrangements are fine but they have been laid out on the page so poorly that they are unplayable unless memorized or photocopied. Most pieces span 8 pages. Even within repeated sections there are multiple page turns. Instead of spreading the notes out in such a large font, they should...

have spent some time making it something people could sit down and read for fun.
