"Thank goodness this song had lyrics John :) Without someone singing along it is a very boring piece to play. Repetitive."
— bpostschmeler from Ontario Canada on June 3, 2011
"...for my taste. I've been playing for fifteen years and I wish it had more of a challenge. I added my own little touches on the song to make it more interesting."
— Liz B from Manchester, NJ on August 4, 2010
"This is just as John wrote and recorded it and sounds beautiful. Not too easy, not too difficult. "

"This is a fantastic song and I would recommend it for that reason alone, but I just want to mention that this will not sound exactly like what was recorded except on the intro and between verses. It seems that it has been rearranged to incorporate the vocal melody into the right hand of the piano piece so that it could be played as an instrumental. And that's just fine if you want to play it that way, it's a great song, but if you just want to play the accompaniment and sing along, you'll have to revise it to work with the only with the chord variation patterns and remove the melody. However, this is not too difficult and can be done by looking at the basic structure of the song and listening to the recording."

"This is a great piece of music. When you're playing it it sounds like it would be difficult to play but it's not at all. It has a very full tone and is a very do-able piece for the advanced beginner to intermediate player. I love it!"
— Terri from Illinois on August 6, 2008
"Not too difficult and written well for piano."

"Great piece, not too difficult but very accurate to the actual song, a great buy for any beatles fan."

"If you listen to this piece, and if you play it properly, it will send you back to yesteryear. For those of us who lived these days, you know what I am talking about. Now, to play this piece, one feels a sense of unity. I am a beginning piano student, and I am learning much every day. Music is passion; enjoy."

"I am a retired piano teacher of 34 years. I always liked this song, and since I had a gift certificate to Sheet Music Plus, I decided to buy it. I do not like this arrangement. I wish I had not purchased it."
— Anonymous from SD on July 5, 2007
"I love the song, but the key was a little too high. Even if I was a soprano and could sing that high, I just don't think it would sound right being sung in such a high octave. I had to take it down about 4 keys to get it into my alto range and it actually sounded really good!"
— Jennifer from Polo, IL on June 22, 2007
"Fun to play, sounds great."
— Karen from Oklahoma City on June 5, 2007
"This music is great and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn this John Lennon song."
— Amy from Rockford, IL on May 10, 2007
"I learned this piece in 8th grade, and really liked it. It isn't the same as in the actual song, but it is tons of fun and has a good feel. No sheet music will sound exactly the same as the real song so I don't know why people are complaining. If you are a Beatle or Lennon fan like me, you will very much enjoy performing this piece. It's definitely a crowd pleaser. :) "
— Erin from Orem, UT on May 9, 2007
"Sheet music came nicely/safely packaged and was just what i needed. thanks!"
— Mickie from Merritt Island, FL on February 14, 2007
"This is teh best song I've ever heard or played. I have been playing the piano for over 5 years, and I've never come a across a song even close to as good as this one. And if you think it's too hard, don't let that stop you from getting it. It's hard at first, but I had it nailed in less than a month. This is a must buy, 5 stars."

"A person who reviewed this earlier said it was grade 7 Conservatory... It's MAX grade 5. Don't get discouraged, you can do it."

"This song is grade 7 royal conservatory standards. Not recommended for begginers. It is nice and sounds best memorized.I'm a freak for detail, so I know the melody isn't quite right but this is my fav song to play."

"I've been playing piano for 8 years, and this is a good version of imagine. however, they could have made this song chords closer together so someone who was beginner could play it easier. "
— Anonymous on May 29, 2006
"Imagine is one of my favorite songs so I find it pretty cool to play it on the piano. The music sounded pretty much right but there was a couple cords that I knew dindn't sound like the real thing. It took me about 2 weeks to get both hands together. All together it was pretty good and I had fun with it. "
— Zach Birkenthal from Westfield, NJ on April 29, 2006
"This is a beautiful song and is enjoyable to play. John Lennon is truly a magic person with his musical talent. This is phenomenal, beautiful song."
— Taylor from Berlin, CT on March 9, 2006
"This is good because it has lyrics and the chords with it, but it's not the real thing that John actually plays. I was dissappointed in this version of it."
— Elliot from Las Vegas, NV on February 22, 2006
"Just yeaching myself how to read and play sheet music for piano is dragging, but with this piece I am motivated, seeing as it's simple, sounds beautiful, and is truly a work of wonder. Plus, it's my favorite song. It's a great piece for anyone to have."
— BlackGrace from S. Connellsville, PA - CAHS Library on November 18, 2005
"At first I had a little trouble, but now it sounds great and is fun to play. It was my first sheet music, and now, because it was so fun, I want more to play!"

"Just one word: Awsome!"
— Anonymous from Belgium on June 13, 2004
"Its a real must have for, well, just about anyone. Sounds just like the song however for the more advanced player gets a bit repetitive and easy after a while. Other than that I loved it and really enjoy playing it."
— Coral from UK on March 23, 2004

"Hi i'm 14 years old and I'm in love with the beatles not them their songs...John Lennon was my moms favorite out of everyone and mine too. his solo album spoke to me in words i couldn't explain "Imagine" was my favorite and when I sing it and my friend plays the piano we both feel John is standing right beside us. You all should just get this so you can feel it too. PEACE"
— Rebecca from Montana on December 9, 2003
"Imagine is the best song John Lennon ever wrote (aside from any he has written with the Beatles). It's truly an amazing song and if you want a semi-easy song to learn on the piano, I recommend it."
— mel from Riverside, Pa on December 16, 2002
"This song is so fun to play and surprisingly enough it is actually really simple. Once you get the song down you can play it really fluently and you can put some feeling into the song. This song sounds great on the piano and you can really feel the music! John Lennon is a genius. "
— Robert Plant from Chicago on October 16, 2002
"This piece of music is so beautiful and I just had to get it. It is a bit repetaeive at times but other than that it sounds like the real thing. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes the song "Imagine" and I hope you have as much fun as I did when I played it. Enjoy!!!!!!!"
— Sophie from Portsmouth, UK on September 15, 2002

"Excellent piece of sheet music for the piano. Right on the money and easy to learn. Sounds exactly like the real thing. If you love John Lennon, you'll love playing this..."
— Eric from St. Louis, MO on March 8, 2002
"Excellent sheet music if you want to play this song on your piano.. play it all exactly like the sheet music for a great solo piano performance or to play along with a full band you can just jam out the opening intro even during the vocals on the verses. It shows how to play that classic intro exactly. Shows bass and treble along with vocal notes."
