a masterpiece!

"i just got this book, and it is spectacular! it is challenging, but fun to play. its also pretty much note for note from the music in the movie. my favorite is the main theme. it is epic and 16 pages long."

Outstanding!

"This music is so amazing! Alan Menken was an amazing composer, and the lyricist, Stephen Schwartz, came up with the perfect words. The music in this book transports you to a whole other world! Try imagining while playing the music. It's amazing!"

I found this book truly satisfying!

"I am 13 years old, and I have been playing the piano 5 years, I managed to sight read most songs, but not all. Some tricky jumping with the fingers. Especially chords at the start were difficult for me, because I haven't got exceptionally long fingers. Ummmm... grade 4/5 standard in my opinion."

Amazing!

"The movie was amazing, darker than any Disney animated feature I've seen. The music has been criticized for being unmemorable & I disagree totally was that. The music is strong and bold. The book is faithful to the soundtrack music, it was not scaled down in difficultly. Most of the tracks are for advanced players, required octave jumping and strong fingers!! Its the nature of the music and I'm glad the authors of the music did not hold back. Songs sound great! Every song is memorable."

A Very Good Songbook

"The collection has every main musical number from the film, in piano and vocal parts. It covers all the major themes, and also has great pictures from the film to go with it. It's a very lavish collection, and has music which is fun to play. A good buy."
