"This has to be my favourite music book. The arrangements are not too difficult; some such as Moon River quite simple for the most part. There is a moody arrangement of Moonlight In Vermont that sounds professional but tinkling as in the old nightclub style. Some of the ballads change to a higher octave and then back again, which makes for interesting contrast and sounds great. What makes this book special, is the inclusion of just about any 20th Century ballad that matters. It's definitely worth the money."

"The book has the music line in the accompaniment which is most helpful when you are just playing for your own entertainment."

"The selection is wonderful, but a bit difficult for a beginner. Anything with more than two sharps of flats is discouraging unless one is very familiar with reading music."

"Good choice for intermediate piano- however - too many sharps and flats for beginners."

"I play strictly by ear and in the key of C, slow numbers only, and I have a repertoire of over 200 songs. I was reminded of two dozen more that I found in the book, and with the help of the chording info, am able to add them to my list. I was very happy with the book."

"Searching for new music and found this book. I'm level 3-4 in piano and my instructor was amazed with the quality and wanted me to order 2 more for her. "

"This is a wonderful book for the intermediate/advanced student or amateur. Eveyone loves the songs and sings while I play. My piano teacher also loves the songs and book."
