Great Tunes Easy to Play and Listen to.

"The Gershwin album offers a fine selection of the many great tunes and lyrics by the Gershwin brothers. They are not overly difficult to play and my family enjoys listening to them."

Nice collection

"This volume contains all the songs I was looking for which were scattered into two volumes in another set. I'm a singer and can't comment on the difficulty of the accompaniments/arrangements, but the vocal lines are generally in medium-tessitura keys and have tricky harmonic twists here and there, as most great jazz standards do."

I love this book!

"Never been happier with a song collection. Gershwin is one of my favorites and they really got a good sampling of his work in this book. The piano parts aren't too complicated, but still have that fun funky Gershwin touch. I would recommend this book to anyone!"

"I've begun taking voice lessons in the last year and don't have enough experience to truly evaluate this collection. I like Gershwin's music and my favorites are in the book; from that point of view it's excellent."

Fun to play, and to hear

"My husband said, "Your mother is getting better!" when he heard me playing from this book. I played straight through, and loved every piece - even the one I'd never heard before. The others were all old favorites. The arrangements are tuneful, but simple, so in some places I could simply sight read, and in others I could add my own embellishments. I want more collections like this one!"
