"Unsatisfied. Does not give a listing of all the songs."

"This s a great addition for users performing for the senior crowd who enjoy music from early 1900 thru the 50's. It's quite complete, easy to read(good print) and the spiral binder is a plus. A good cross section of early standards, light classics, marches and even unknown works you will enjoy playing."

"This book contains all those songs you learned as a kid including xmas carols. It has a lot of songs, but has the same melody for several songs as people learned them with different words - instead of having 'variations' on one song. It is the most common songs, not the greatest. "

"I like many of the selections, but am not accomplished enough to play many as yet. Pieces are written in many different key signatures, so do not read this as a strictly key of C offering."

"That is one reason why I got it. However, I have to 8va (up an octive) the majority of music.(What's new?!) Some of the notes are so low they are in the Alto Clef range of the Viola. If you haven't had any piano and play the flute you won't be able to 8va some of the music, as the lowest is an Alto G? You have to 8va if you play a normal(soprano-High C to middle pianoed C keyed) flute. An Alto Flute might find the range perfect? Maybe even an Oboe would find it easy to play? I like the song collection very much and that it has guitar cords, and lyrics, too! This would be a great song book for an elementry school teacher/parent/grandparent as it has some great school age songs, also a nostalgic collection of folk tunes, hymns, patriotic tunes, Marches etc. Except it's so large, it would be good for a sing a-long at a campfire. A good all rounder book of tunes. I highly recommend it!"

"The book has lots of variety with some moderately difficult and also easier songs as well. Many nostalgic and fun songs to play."

"By adding a category offering old favorite college songs - those with printable lyrics, of course. Otherwise, very comprehensive and useful for alternate novelty tunes and sing-alongs on small band gigs."

"I have over 600 pieces of music I perform and ordered this thinking it would probably have many duplicates, which it did, however, the other music that was included with this fake book were very much worth the cost. Now I have well over 700 pieces of music to perform."

"when you're performing for seniors there's no better variety of selection than you have in this book. this and a good book of standards from the 30's & 40's and that's all you need."

"This is one of several fake books that I've acquired and it met most of my expectations. Although it was purchased for use with my concertina (key of C and G), many of the tunes were written in other keys and will need to be tranposed prior to use. Nonetheless, it is a good addition to my keyboard collection, with many new tunes. "

" This book offers songs that are easy to play, quite a difference to the traditional books. It is hard to stop playing page after page when I get started. I would rate it an A+ "

"Great addition to my repertoire for playing at various assisted living communities. They all know the songs and sing-a-long. Strongly recommend to anyone wanting to complete their song playlists...."

"A good mix ... gospel, country, rock, jazz, classical, latin --- you name it. Usually one of the first books I pick up when I sit down to play."
