Difficult, but Doable
This is a great book for those who admire Copin's work but are not skilled enough to take on the likes of his Bacarolle in F. It still takes a lot of practice to play these. The SMP 7 is about right, however I should think most anyone could manage...

Easiest but not easy.
These short pieces in their original form are a wonderful introduction to the music of chopin. The level is primarily late intermediate with a few selections easier or almost advanced. While it is an expanded version of Alfred's "First book of Chopin" and adds a number of Mazurkas it lacks...

Easy Chopin Works
The book is what it says...The works contained are Chopin's easiest works. There are some difficult pieces in this book However, the pieces tend to be short and slightly repetitive as far as theme. I would recommned the book for an early intermediate student.
