My students are enjoying this book very much. They are learning fingering, dexterity and much more. Plus the music is exciting to them. This is one that I myself enjoyed as a piano student and still enjoy playing when I'm sitting down to the piano just for fun. The...

Every piano student should learn several of the Clementi Sonatinas. They should not learn them from this edition, however. Kohler's editing obscures what Clementi actually wrote. get either the Alfred Masterwork Edition or the Schirmer Performing Edition instead.

This a fine book at a fair price. The Clementi Sonatinas are fun for anyone, with lovely melodic lines. I don't take lessons, pick out various pieces at home for the fun of it.

This collection of twelve sonatinas by Clementi is a timeless pleasure. It is actually fun to sit down and play through these little gems, plus they are excellent exercises to improve one's playing abilities. Highly recommended.
