Perfect for The Solo Flautist
I am one who is big on flute pieces that have no supporting part (piano, harp, harpsichord ect) because this set of fantasias show the beauty and different colors of the flute. Also you can write in different ornamentations with this music since there are parts that repeat. I reccomend...

Good basic studies of a melodic nature
Telemann flute compositions are good basic studies of a melodic nature for the early intermediate and intermediate flautist. Fun to play, but can be challenging to play gracefully.
