Solo and duets are misleading but could be fun for some

This is more of a music-minus-one book

I thought the description was misleading. I thought it would be full of compelte solo songs not needing support from a band. Most of the pieces requires the CD to be played along side in mechanical unforgiving mode. A solo music piece will start with 4 bar rest!. What saves it is the Jazz pieces which are duets though can be played with CD accompientment are sufficient to be played as a duet. The music is taken mostly from 50's and earlier which is a hard sell to convince my my learning young child to play. She likes the Jazz and may find fun in the seasonal pieces in December.
