  • January 15, 2012 100 Years oif Broadway (Medley)

Overall, I like this collection, although some of the snipits are too short to be recognizable by all but the most avid of Broadway fans. There were some errors (printing, I'm sure) in the vocal lines, usually where an accidental was not printed on the page where it should...

have been. I'm pretty sure that Mac Huff did not intend for these errors to occur.

I have to select music for a group to sing, and this will definitely be one that we use next season!

    Difficulty Level:
  • March 25, 2008 TOO MANY TYPOS TO COUNT

The music arrangement is very well written. The selection of songs is very adequate. However the amount of typos throughout the printed music is above average. And since I have ordered all the instrumental parts as well, I have to go through each score one line at a time to...

find all the mistakes. Plus the conductors "score" doesn't even have the instrumental parts on it, so it is impossible to direct this piece with an orchestra. Buy the music for its arrangements but don't expect to conduct anything other than the piano with it.

  • September 27, 2007 Publication should be withdrawn from sale

Pieces are incomplete, lacking accompaniment, with print font that's simply too small to be functional. This is, without doubt, the worse piece of choral music I have ever seen -- and I have seen a lot of them. Ed Ostrom, singer (40 yrs) and certified choral director

i'm in a singing group of 24 people (20 girls, 4 guys) and we're singing this in a huge production. it's really fun to practice, and we're adding in our own harmonies when they're not written. it would be alot easier if the harmonies (SATB...

) were written in.. but we're having fun making our own. i'm super excited to do the production!
