This medley is an excellent arrangement and the narration between sections maintains audience interest. All the stage major hits are represented and it is a real fun sing. Our chorus performed it in about 40 minutes and there are 52 song abbreviated pieces.

  • December 30, 2003 SMASH HIT! Instant standing ovation

We sang this with a 31 voice SATB choir. Together for the first time. We used more than 20 voices for speakers and solists. We sang with the CD and did not stop the medley for applause. This is a retirement community and the ages were fron early fifties thru...

mid eighties. Two of our most outstanding soloists were in the eighty group. The community loved it and we sang to a full house both nights. Perhaps we will repeat this medley again in the near future. We also have an amatuer video of the opening evening.
