Worth a Try for Most Everyone
I am not the world's greatest pianist, so it took me a little while to learn this song, but I love it. It's so pretty, and it's probably my favorite song to play on the piano. I think I'm driving amily crazy with it, although they won't admit to it as much as I try to make them.

Feel like a pro
This makes me feel like a pro. Most of the music is simple, with a few places a little more challenging. It sounds just like the acoustic version of the song. I'm a casual player/singer, returning to the piano after way too long.

Totally satisfied!
Sounds as though it is the original piece! I am very satisfied with what I purchased. This is so much easier than going from store to store to find what I want. It is also nice to be able to look at a sample of the music to see if there may be any difficulty before I buy it!

I was a little bit disappointed, it had alot of just stuff going on with the right hand, and nothing with the left hand/a little easier than I would have liked

Fun to play
I like this piece because it plays good without words or with. My family loves to listen to me play it and I learned it fairly fast. I do think that knowing the tune helped quite a bit.

Very Good Arrangement
This is an arrangement you'll love once you learn it. Not overly hard, but you need to get the timing right and then it's really fun to play. I agree with a previous review which stated there are no repeats to go back to, which makes playng even more enjoyable.

A Great Arrangement
I hate arrangements that take shortcuts by using repeat signs for the verses, thereby ignoring any subtleties in the music. This doesn't do that. It is a full representation of the song with no shortcuts. It represents the differences in the melodies and rhythms, matching the changes in the lyrics.

pretty easy, but still sounds lovely.
The intro is pretty easy, the chorus is a little harder, and the last two pages took me a bit of time to ficure out, but overall, it's a fairly easy song. It's full of patterns and allot of repeating, very few (if any)sharps or flats (other than F#; it's in the key of G major) and there isn't much finger stretching (an octave is as big as the streches get).

Accurate, but not much for solo
I'm an early intermediate (which is relative) and this is quite hard for me. It's one of those songs that doesn't sound so good unless you can play it well and fast enough.

Awesome Song but not for beginners
This sheet music is true to the original song. That being said, it is not a beginners version. It is a tough song to "hammer out" much less play without a hitch.

This song is a great one to learn and is so much fun. Whenever I past my piano I just sit down and play it because it is fun and I can't stay away from it. Once I get it down I call my friends to show them and they love it. I strongly recomend it for piano players that love to play!!!

Authentic to recording; easy to play
I think this piece sounds just like the actual song. It is clean and simple and very pretty. The rythym is pretty basic, which is really helpful for me as I usually have to count out loud until I get the piece down. Once I mastered the intro (which took a couple of days), the rest of the song is easy to get through. The music has no repeats, so you play it straight through without flipping pages back and forth. I would call myself an intermediate player that can sight read well if I know the tune. I would highly recommend this piece without hesitation.

Wonderful Sheet Music
This sheet music is really transcribed well. It is a very fun piece to just pick and play. It isn't too difficult to just play through right off the bat, but it's not so simple that you will be bored playing it. If you like this song, you have to pick up the sheet music.

This is a great piece and the arrangement is really easy to sight read. It's not like the piano accompaniment in the recording so dont think that's what you're getting. It's fun to play through and its really pretty.

Fun!
This piece was originally composed for piano, so this music is accurate to the acoustic recording. With that said, it is easier to pick up the rhythmic qualities between both hands after listening and internalizing the music. I'm generally a classical piano student, so this music tends to get old fast since it is several pages of the same chord progressions, but it is a fun break away from the serious studies. I purposely ordered it to play at a cocktail hour for someone's wedding. I also ordered music by Yann Tiersen which is relatively easy/intermediate and is excellent for breaks between studies!! You will definitely enjoy 100 years!!

Just the right amount of difficulty
I'm 15, and have been playing piano for 6 years. I found this song to be not that hard on the whole, though the 'suddenly you're wise' part as well as some pretty tricky reaches (given my fairly small hands) added a level of difficulty that even experienced players will enjoy mastering. This is a great song even for beginners, as the notes actually arn't that hard (the main tune only has the left hand playing one note at a time). Its the timing that requires a bit more practice to get right, but even novice players should be able to at least master the first part without much trouble.

tricky to learn; beautiful piece
as a beginner at piano, i found this piece difficult and challenging, but well worth it once you get the hang of it. however, if you wish to play the vocal part only, you'll find it quite simple, and it still sounds very good. beautiful song overall; i highly recommend it.

I absolutely LOVE this piece. There are only so many words to describe it. I have never had any formal piano lessons or training besides 2 lessons when I was 7 on keyboard. I'm now 15 and can't really play at all. BUT this piece I've been working at today for a couple of hours and I CAN PLAY THE 1ST PAGE! It's that easy, but the rest I cant get. I WILL get it. IT'S SO WORTH IT!!

Melodic & flowing musical journey....
100 Years is a wonderful arrangement, both exciting and fresh. I wouldn't recommend it for the beginner, or if you have trouble with rhythm, as it tends to get a bit tricky. Its fairly complicated, with a few choice moments to highlight.I've been playing for about 15 years, and it was diverse enough to hold my interest. Overall, excellent fun to play!

Very Repetitve
It was a fun song to listen to me play. Although its not good for a talent show cause its so repetitive. If you wanted to play the song for a talent show you would need a singer to go on, or else it seems that your just playing the same thing over and over again. There's also some note that are outer legers that are very hard to read

Very well done and very pleased
As with almost all of the other reviews, I was very please with this beautiful song. Being very well arranged, it sounds exactly they way Five for Fighting plays it, so many of your friends who know the song will be extremely impressed. A bit of advice though: if you don't know the tune of the song don't buy it. The timing and melody are hard to pick out unless you have heard the song on the radio or CD(I also suggest listening to it over and over again too). Having played piano for three years, I am so happy to play a piece that sounds very proffesional, beautiful, and fun. God Bless and I hope this helps!

For those who are looking for accurate transcriptions of recorded music, you've got to choose sheet music carefully, as there are lots of watered down, simplified, transposed, etc. versions to sift through. Fortunately, this is a great transcription, very true to the original. You won't be disappointed. Check out the acoustic (piano only) version of this tune[...]. You can follow along with this sheet music. It's pretty close to a note-for-note transcription, and it will help you learn the tune.

review for keyboard
love the song but my only criticism is that the music from a keyboard point of view doesnt always follow the vocals although the top line part{of 3} includes the singers vocals. To play it alone on a keyboard is ok but where the singer hits the high notes ,the keyboard is playing an accompaniment rather than following the melody,i see im in the minority in terms of the review for this piece

This song is so much fun to learn, and to play. I can sit down at a piano anywhere, and someone will start singing with me because everyone knows it! It's exactly how it's played on the recording, so you can play the CD loud and play your piano with it! I recommend it to anyone, and the melody is so catchy! I sang it at a piano recital and accompanied myself and it was an instant hit :P

GO 100 YEARS!!!!!!!
This Song is so fun to play! I play it every chance I get. One of the best parts was that it's easy to learn, since it's the same thing over and over again. I also like how it is the same as the actual song. It's awesome because you play it after you've practiced for a while, and you hear it and think, "I can play that well? I'm better than I thought" You feel like you're really good,, because it's exactly the same as the actual song.THIS IS THE BEST SONG EVER!!!!!!! GO 100 YEARS!!!!!!!

Great Song!!!!!!!!!!
This is an easy song to play if you have heard the song even once. It's beautiful and I play it to impress my friends all the time. Many of the lines repeat themselves, so you don't have to learn as much as you would think. The music is exactly like the raido verson; it helped me to play the music while listening to the song on my computer. This song is a great investment and will really be worth your time!

A Great Get
At first, it was difficult. But once you get the feel for the rhythm and melody, it's easy to pick up. I'm still working on the "suddenly you're wise..." part. It's the most challenging part of this song... I may have to short-cut that part :-). Other than that, it's smooth, and sounds amazing. It's not a song for a beginner. But if you've been playing for a few years, it should be no problem. By far it's the best score I've played... it sounds just like the radio. Good way to impress friends.

I thought this song was absolutely amazing the first moment I heard the piano part. One of my friends played it for me and I was like I NEED to get the music to that song. I'm still working on it but it's goin really well. I recomend this piece of music to any body who likes a challenge, is willing to work hard and is willing to blow away their audience when they hear it. I Love this song. it is really pretty.

A Beautiful Song!
I'm 15 years old and I love playing this song! It's kind of difficult, but with a little hard work it can definitely be done! It's so beautiful and all my friends love to hear me play it for them. It makes me really want to sit down at the piano and work on it to get it down perfectly. It's so much fun to be able to hear that song on the radio and to be able to say, "I can play that!". If you like this song, I know you'll love playing it!

AMAZING!
100 Years is by far, one of my favorites of all time. Not just because i am a HUGE Five For Fighting fan, but because the piano part is awesome and sounds just like the real song. i hate it when the sheet music for songs is/sounds different from the real song. This is not the case with 100 Years. John Ondrasik did a great job writing this one. I have only been playing for about 9 or 10 months and i have this song mastered. It is definetly worth your while and money!

Fun to play!
I have played the piano off and on (mostly off!) for about 8 years and am about an intermediate player. This song was really fun and I love to play it! The rythm was a little confusing at first but once I read through it a few times I got the hang of it. My sister plays the vocal part on her flute while I play the piano and it sounds so much more complete when you add the vocal line into it. Great piece that you can't stop playing!!

Fantastic
I loved this music so much that I obsessed over it for months. The piano solo is even more enjoyable than the original recording and can be appreciated by the listener even if they have never heard the song before (you know how that is). The melody is written in so no one has to sing it, although the first time I read the words it brought me to tears. I am a piano teacher and I think that what makes this music challenging is that each repetition of the often-repeating motives is that each one is altered a little in notes and rhythm. That makes it really interesting but wow is it more difficult to memorize. The rhythm is just a little bit trick in places. The effort is really worth it. A student and I both had trouble locating it because music is usually placed in alphabetical order and where do you put a song that starts with a number?

Great song
I have always liked this song since i first heard it. It's a little hard in the part where the lyrics are "Half the time goes by, suddenly you're wise. Another blink of an eye..." but after you learn that, it's really easy. Also an easy song to sing to. I love how the end you hold the pedal and it has this "ringing" sound. Awesome song!

Finally, like a transcription...
Seems like the artist's rendition pretty much note for note. The off-sequencing of the bass and treble notes was a little tricky at first but once you get the feel it flows along nicely. Now, if I could just get the voice down...

What a hard song.
This song is awesome even though its hard its still great. what makes it so hard are the intricate placement of the notes how the don't just all play at once but are spread out in a difficult arrangement. Also where you play like 4 keys at a time switching them around one after another is really hard to get use to. I like it though and once i get through it will be a very impressive piece!

Something you'll play more than once
I've got a drawer full of music that I bought because I liked the song on the radio. When I played it on the piano, less than fullfilling. Kind of like you buy a CD because you like a song and then find out the rest of the CD blows. 100 years is written in G major (F sharp). It sounds like the video on yahoo - and people know instantly what you are playing. It is a long song - about 10 pages. I put it right near some of the Billy Joel stuff and American Pie in terms of playing enjoyment - but you don't need the big hands to make the stretches on this one.
