Something for Almost Everyone.

As an adult in my thirties, and an almost beginner violin student, this book is great. It begins with easier tunes and progresses to more difficult pieces. There are a great mix of Show Tunes, Traditional Songs, Classical Pieces, plus quite a few songs from the Sixties and Seventies. I...

The pieces get more and more difficult as the book continues. Great book!

Eh.

Not my favourite book. The songs are dated for most of my young students. Some of the keys they are transposed in are awkward, and the arrangements are forgettable. The high cost of the book makes it one I would pass on.
