Quartet in G Minor TWV43:g1 composed by Georg Philipp Telemann (1681-1767). For Flute, Violin, Viola da gamba (Cello/Viola), Basso Continuo. This edition: Revised edition. Sheet Music. Published by Zimmermann (PE.ZM31880).
This is a revised new edition of the old number ZM1117. This quartet belongs to the series of the so-called "Parisian Quartets" which were composed between 1730 and 1740. Werner Richter complemented this edition by numbering the basso continuo and adding new parts for the viola da gamba and the cello. In doing so, he followed the unaltered score and its instrumentation. The parts of the flute and the violin can be replaced by other instruments as it was common practice in those days. For this edition, the typing of notes has been completely redone.
