Bach for Brass

By Johann Sebastian Bach

Look Bach for Brass
Detailed Description

Bach for Brass composed by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750). Arranged by David Uber. For brass quartet (2 trumpets and 2 trombones (baritone horns)). Grade 2-3. Score and set of parts. Published by Kendor Music Inc (KN.18514).

This collection of Bach chorales includes the hymns that have been played and sung most often through the ages: Praise To The Lord, The Almighty, O Sacred Head, Now Wounded, Sleepers Wake, Lord Jesus Christ With Us Abide, From Heav'n Above, and How Bright Appears The Morning Star. Especially suitable for performance in church (though not exclusively), each chorale may be used strictly as an instrumental presentation or to accompany choirs. Even if no other instruments are available, lead trumpet can play the traditional melody alone or with singers with excellent results.
