A solo for Alto Saxophone and Piano
This highly challenging piece was composed for my high school band director, Mathew C. Ferraro. It makes use of frequent meter, key and tempo changes and requires control of the upper register of the saxophone. The form of the piece is a standard ABA format, featuring a lively, tormented A section and a gorgeous B section.
