Written for the movie "The Wizard of Oz" in 1939 and sung by Judy Garland, this popular ballad won an Academy Award for best original song.
The arrangement is tabbed in 1-5-8 or DAD tuning. It uses a chord-melody style, incorporating a combination of strummed chords and individually picked notes. a perfect addition to the intermediate level player's repertoire.
There is one spot in the arrangement where a 1+ fret is indicated on the middle string. This note is optional. If you do not have a 1+ fret, the note can easily be played as an open string.
The download includes dulcimer tablature, standard musical notation, lyrics and guitar accompaniment chords.
