Her awesome and beloved song MYSTICAL MAGICAL UNICORN provides the basis for the introduction of this arrangement.
The verse and refrain provide the perfect "teachable moment" for students to play, hear, and understand the difference between what we say when we use the terms MAJOR and MINOR key in music. Going beyond "happy" and "sad", this arrangement goes deeper to an appreciation that is NON-VERBAL. Just as words are inadequate to describe colors, so are they inadequate to describe one of the most profound phenomena in human experience. And, it's all right here in WE THREE KINGS! Who knew?!?!??!!!
