Composed by Christopher M. Leonard. Contemporary. Octavo. 8 pages. Christopher M. Leonard #1920379. Published by Christopher M. Leonard (A0.939038).#newfor2016 I first heard the poem "Weep You No More" when singing an art song written by Ivor Gurney entitled "Tears." Since then I have always wanted to place it in a choral setting. There are different emotions that this song explores, but I wrote it envisioning someone comforting someone. To me it represents that death is not the end, with hints to the resurrection. "Doth not the sun rise smiling When fair at even he sets?".
