Composed by Darcy Hill. Children. Score. 3 pages. Darcy Hill #1768651. Published by Darcy Hill (A0.960863).

Abraham Lincoln was a wise man. He chose his words carefully and spoke well. "Whatever you are, be a good one," is a perfect example of a powerful, meaningful Abe Lincoln quote. There are countless dozens of such quotes attributed to him. This song addresses the importance of words and, for my students, became an important lesson in assessing the value and impact of the words each of us use throughout the course of an ordinary day. Do my words bring blessing or do they bring hurt? This is the sheet music for "Wise Words." One Arts Infusion Collaborative seeks to create original music and poetry to support and enhance curricular content, celebrate holidays, stir imaginations, and draw students into challenging mini-lesson discussions.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
