This dual (2 Piano, 4 Hands) keyboard arrangement of George J. Elvey's DIADEMATA tune begins in the key of C major with Keyboard I introducing a majestic theme that is repeated throughout. Keyboard II then brings out the melody as the piece progresses. After once through the complete melody, there is a 2 measure transition to the key of D major. Keyboard I then brings out the melody while Keyboard II harmonizes using a modification of the majestic theme introduced by Keyboard I. Bold and energetic throughout, this dual keyboard duet is ideal for a processional or postlude. When associated with the lyrics by Matthew Bridges titled "Crown Him With Many Crowns," this piece is often used during the Easter season. Charles Wesley's text "Soldiers of Christ, Arise" are also frequently associated with this tune. The purchase price includes the 5 page combined score as well as the individual parts (2 and 3 pages each) thus allowing for fewer page turns. Duration 2:00.
