"This dual keyboard arrangement is based on the familiar hymn tune LANCASHIRE by Henry Thomas Smart and is associated with two sets of lyrics. For the Easter season, St. John of Damascus penned the lyrics titled ""The Day of Resurrection."" Alternate lyrics by Ernest W. Shurtleff are equally well known and titled ""Lead On, O King Eternal."" This arrangement begins in the key of C with flowing 16th notes on Keyboard I while Keyboard II brings out the melody. The song progresses through the melody one time then builds as it transitions to the key of G. For the second time through the piece, Keyboard I carries the melody with energy and boldness while Keyboard II fills in a mellow harmony. The piece concludes by returning to the beginning theme with flowing 16th notes. The Keyboard I part falls in the skill level of intermediate with an abundance of 16th notes and 3-note chords, however, the Keyboard II part is easier and more suited to the elementary level with only a few 8th notes scattered among the quarter and half notes. The purchase price includes the 4-page full score as well as the individual parts thus allowing for fewer page turns. ".
