This multi-metered setting of the Easter Hymn is a thrilling opening for Easter Sunday Morning. Meters freely switch between, 7/4, 5/4, and 6/4 with three Trumpets and SATB choir sharing counterpoint that will set the desired mood for celebrating the risen Christ. "Fanfare for Tanglewood" was written for the Young artists chorus of the Boston University Tanglewood institute. Scored for two Trumpets and SATB chorus, this is appropriate for any general service of worship when Trumpets are available.
