Composed by Carrie Lane Gruselle. Series; String Orchestra. FJH Beginning Strings. Frog and Toad is a study in contrasts. Students will also study contrasting dynamics and articulations, and will practice changing from arco. Folk; Light Concert; Novelty. Score and Part(s). Duration 1:40. The FJH Music Company Inc #98-ST6151. Published by The FJH Music Company Inc (AP.98-ST6151).

UPC: 674398223411. English.

Inspired by the poem of 19th century English poet Christina Rossetti (also the author of "In the Bleak Midwinter"), Frog and Toad provides a wonderful change of pace. The frog theme is lighthearted in a major key, while the toad theme is plodding and in a minor key (though there are no formal key changes in the music). This fun piece is full of contrasting dynamics, articulations, and styles. Clever!
