Funny Girls, Volume 1 (Karaoke CDG) broadway. Karaoke CDG. Published by Pocket Songs (PS.PSCDG6051).
Funny Girl opened on Broadway on March 26, 1964 with Barbra Streisand in the title role. Featuring music by Jule Styne and lyrics by Bob Merrill, the show was nominated for eight Tony Awards. A semi-autobiographical take on the life of Broadway and film star Fanny Price, it helped make Streisand into a star in her own right. A film adaptation followed in 1968 (also with Streisand), as did a sequel, Funny Lady, in 1975. Sing thirteen great songs from the original musical and its sequel with this delightful karaoke collection.
Each Pocket Songs PSCDG album contains a complete performance with a professional vocalist as well as the karaoke tracks of each song, for the at-home performer. CDG discs can be played on a regular CD player but require a CDG player to see the graphics.
