Tscho-Kurt is the name of the oldest son of a cheese manufacturer who says goodbye to his parents in order to see the great wide world. Trabanta is a veteran horse, once used for transport, given to him by his father. The musical story is about Tscho- Kurt's adventures, illustrated by interjections on percussion instruments. The author uses the text in order to demonstrate the multiple possibilities of the instruments and thus encourages the kids to play by themselves and try things out. Difficult parts, however, should be played by the teacher. The children can then add sound effects as they wish. The songs contained herein can also be played on any other instrument. A detailed text containing hints and comments on pedagogically and didactically useful preparations precedes the tale. The pictures are meant to be colored in.
