Look Village Musicians
Detailed Description

Village Musicians composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791). Arranged by Mary Elizabeth Clark. For Piano. Masterworks; Piano Trio (1 Piano, 6 Hands); Trio. Intermediate level piece for the Piano Trio event with the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) Festivals Bulletin 2008-2009-2010. Classical; Masterwork Arrangement. Intermediate. Sheet. 20 pages. Published by Alfred Music (AP.88119).

Adapted from Mozart's "Musical Joke, " K.522. The imitative, birdsong passages, according to Luis Baptista, "mimic the starling's natural propensity to intertwine whistled tunes… and their tendency to whistle 'off-key.'" Originally written for six instruments, the musical fun may now be shared by six hands at the piano keyboard. The pages are configured such that all three intermediate level pianists may read from the same score. A Federation Festivals 2014-2016 selection.
List/syllabus: Federation Festivals 2014-2016.
