This book has great songs, in a variety of tones and tempos, perfect for the intermediate and developing piano player. There are short pieces, long pieces, fast, slow, and full octave pieces. A nice variety from well-known composers, and fun to play out of! Must be comfortable with 16th notes, and mutiple accidentals.

I have Bastien Piano For Adults Book 1

I have used this with several of my students with great success. The pieces are in varied styles but all present classic pieces that have been much-loved through the centuries. However, I was surprised to see this categorized as a level 5. My students who go through Alfred's Basic Piano Library aren't ready for this until level 6 and the Bach Inventions are even a later level 6.
