These books are flexible and reasonably priced. They allow players to play background music for a party or give a little concert. They can be a gift to students and then used in group lessons to reinforce reading skills. Players can switch parts with each verse and learn to hear the inner voices. I've used them for years with great success.

This is a good little series, whether for young players who want to have fun, or performing for your church group. Easy standards, mostly in G major. Which is my only complaint--many of the newer violinists would prefer more stuff in D major. It's still very good value, especially at this price.
