I used this for our combined choir this Christmas season: the traditional choir, the intergenerational chorus and the children's choir. All singers really enjoyed it. The children's part just makes this piece, I think. If you don't have children to do it, I'd suggest a couple of teen girls with very sweet voices singing the children's part. I actually did that for the Alleluia section, as I wanted to the children to be able to concentrate on the other sections that included them. This piece is bright and shimmering--lovely for the season, especially if you have a little group of children to sing the children's part. The flute part is nice, too. Only wound up with one flautist at the end, but she improvised a part based on the 2 flute parts. The congregation really enjoyed it, too. I'll wait a few years and bring it out again, for sure!

This selection is beautiful. We used a youth female unison choir and it was fabulous.
