Composed in 1889, "The Thunderer" is one of John Philip Sousa's finest and most famous marches. Master young band arranger David Shaffer has crafted this uniquely playable arrangement for very young musicians, capturing the unique pyrotechnics of the drum and bugle effects from Sousa's original score. This is a perfect introduction to the classic American march style for young bands.
