I remember performing this piece a couple years ago as part of the Snow College A Cappella Choir, and it was one of the most unique and challenging pieces I've ever learned. However, I can definitely say that it was well worth the attempt, because this piece does not disappoint. It's pretty hard, but even non-audition choirs can pull it off (including the Snow College A Cappella Choir.) I highly recommend learning this piece if you can, as it'll be difficult to find another piece like this one.

I simply love this song. Every high school student should get the chance to learn this piece. A Director picks songs because of how they sound and how they feel when they hear it, but songs are also a learning experience. Songs like Cloudbust (and trust me, there aren't alot of them) teach you so much about technique that it is amazing. The clashing harmonies are something that I personally love. The rain simulation sounds extremely convincing, especially when closing your eyes. Simply amazing. A student should not end their high school career without having contact with this song!
