The book itself surprised me with its quality.....much better than any other music book I have ordered on line. The pieces are quite a bit easier than I expected from the description, so isn't what I wanted. I would like to have seen a sample page so I could judge what music was appropriate for me. The selection of music was very appealing and I'm sure this is a great book for a beginner.

Love...Love this book! Great pieces that are easy to play. I am self taught and had not played in years. Was so happy to see classic piano pieces that were not complicated. Thank you!

This is exactly what it sets out to be: easy versions of great classical melodies. My son began with Faure's Sicilienne and went through the book in 2 weeks, memorizing his favorite pieces.He found it refreshing and both challenging and yet at the same straightforward and easily accomplished. These were not pieces that he needed to work weeks on, so they are a nice change of pace - a short walk in a beautiful park, not an arduous uphill hike.
