    R. Strauss, 4 last songs

    Nice edition. Good value to singers, who can experience these lovely songs without needing an orchestra.

    Require virtuosity-not remotely intermediate

    Not only are these songs advanced, but they are exceedingly difficult in comparison to what are thought of as lieder. They are operatic in range and scope, written for voice and orchestra. They require superb musicianship and a command of German.
